PREMIERE: Deliciously dark new song + video from Bayonets #BuyIrishMusic

This has been an exceptionally good week for the Irish singles and videos, with Bayonets debuting 'We Light Fires' today on hotpress.com.
The nom de studio of Anascaul, Co. Kerry man Vinnie Flynn, the deliciously dark track was recorded last year at (how very apt) Darklands Audio in Dublin with Daniel Doherty, and the video dreamt up with illustrator and animator Lukas Beles of Flock Of Crows Motion Design.
"The video follows a man going through some personal struggles but finding peace in what he does best; even if it's not quite by the book!" he reflects.
Vinnie is currently a fair few miles away from Anascaul.
"I relocated to Barcelona last August and I've been gigging here since I've moved.," he continues. "Unfortunately due to the current circumstances, the gigs have been put on 'hold' but I'm finding the time great to work on new music. I think if anything good was to come out of this situation, it would be creativity and appreciating the small things."
Amen to that!
