Ancient tradition and groundbreaking innovation were embraced in equal measure last night, as some of the leading lights in homegrown music gathered in Naas, Co. Kildare, for Nothing Compares: A Celebration of Irish Women Artists with Imelda May, Eleanor McEvoy, Tolü Makay, Susan O’Neill, Mary Stokes, Megan O'Neill and Gemma Dunleavy delivering a memorable brilliant performance and a great sense of community. A heartful event where Sabina Higgins and Laura Murphy shared a beautiful moment on stage reading poetry inspired by St. Brigid.
