Markéta Irglová takes us behind-the-scenes of upcoming album in new video
The Academy Award winner will release her first album in eight years this August.
Markéta Irglová, famed for her starring role in the 2007 movie Once alongside Glen Hansard, is stepping back into the spotlight with her first record in eight years, LILA. The album will be released in August – but the 'Making of LILA - Part 1' video is out now.
Filmed and edited by Barcelona-based visual storyteller, Sion Fullana, at Masterkey Studios in Iceland, the video focuses on the single, 'My Roots Go Deep’, released last month.
“I am so grateful to Sion for filming and editing this footage captured during a very special time in my life," Markéta says of the video. "Perhaps it will also give you a closer look at the process, which was so fun and beautifully creative. Thank you for watching.”
