LISTEN: New Ross rapper Skripteh storms it with his JS collaboration
We're loving 'Bandits', the latest stormer from young New Ross rapper Skripteh who's joined by JS, a member of the same OFB collective that includes the Drake co-signed Headie Boy.
The short-sharp-shock of a track is produced by New Machine, the Plan B, Maverick Sabre and Joey Bada$$ associate who notes that, "This is one of the first UK/Irish rap collabs with an artist with an Irish accent, as most Irish drill acts weirdly use a UK accent. This should make a lot of noise."
He's spot on. One of the acts featured in Hot Press' recent Irish hip hop special - it's the one with Niall Horan looking extremely louche on the cover - Skripteh looks primed to blow up internationally.
