Happy Birthday Damian O'Neill: The Undertones lead guitar jumps out our photo archive
We want to wish Damian O’Neill a very happy 60th birthday today. This always cheerful lead guitar player with The Undertones since 1976 has music running through his veins and never stopped writing both with a band and solo. Although The Undertones split in 1983 (only to come back in 1999), the Derry musician formed That Petrol Emotion and has released solo records such as the experimental A Quiet Revolution and Higher Grace as X-Valdez.
Scroll for a collection of photos from our archive where you can find O’Neill with his bandmates take by legendary photographers such as Jill Furmanovsky, Colm Henry and Bernard Farrell.
