Danny O'Reilly at St. Canice's Cathedral (Photos)
The Marble City of Kilkenny was treated to a very intimate solo show by 'The Coronas' frontman Danny O'Reilly. The show was made more special as it was held in the unique atmosphere of St. Canice's Cathedral.
The night began with the opening act Harry Hudson-Taylor of Hudson Taylor with his new solo performance. Then in front of a packed to-capacity venue, Danny entered the Cathedral with the lighting dimmed singing his opening song in the center of the ancient building among the crowd. Over the following two hours, there was a full array of Coronas hits. The night was further enhanced by a duet with Harry Hudson-Taylor who Danny described as a brother.
The night of music went to another level with Danny being joined by special guests. Firstly Mary Black and finally Niamh Farrell, lead singer with Ham Sandwich.
