The Coastguard Cultural Centre, Tramore played host to a very special event last Saturday night as Waterford singer Derek Flynn performed The Life and Songs of Leonard Cohen. The event included a detailed description of Leonard Cohen's professional and private life. And how the impact of life events contributed to the Canadian's songwriting, poetry, and writing. Derek's deep voice is perfectly suited as he performed a huge amount of Cohen's classic songs including “Bird on A Wire”, “Suzanne”, “So Long, Marianne”, and of course, “Hallelujah”. On the he was joined by special guests Paula Weldon and Lauren Cardiff.
