Conor McGregor, Stephen Cluxton and a cow on the Gaiety Theatre stage: The Press Photographer Of The Year exhibition goes virtual

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the Press Photographer of the Year exhibition won't take place in Dublin as usual, but The Press Photographers Association of Ireland have opened a virtual gallery through their social media channels and their website ppai.ie so people can have a look at the winners.

On this set of photographs we can find astonishing images that marked a year full of events and news stories that press photographers captured through their lens, like Conor McGregor leaving the Courts of Criminal Justice after he was charged with assaulting a man in a pub or Dublin captain Stephen Cluxton lifting The Sam Maguire Cup following the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship Final Replay match between Dublin and Kerry at a crowded Croke Park full of happy faces.
