Brianna Ghey vigil in Dublin (Photos)

A vigil for the murder of 16-year-old Brianna Ghey took place in Dublin last night with a big crowd gathering at The Spire claiming trans rights and the stop of transphobic violence.

Among the people paying their respects were speakers including Trans and Intersex Pride co-founder Ollie Bell, veteran LGBTQ+, feminist and People Before Profit activist Ailbhe Smith, Socialist Party Councillor for South Dublin County Council Leah Whelan, and young trans woman and Rosa socialist feminist activist River Arches.
