Thousands march on London to protest Trump visit
The march was organised by Women's March London
This afternoon, thousands took to the streets of London to protest Donald Trump's UK visit in the #BringTheNoise march.
The march was organised by Women's March London. They had previously organised the London Women's March on 21 January 2017 - the first day of Trump's presidency - as part of a series of worldwide marches that took place to show discontentment with Trump's politics.
Writing on their site, Women's March London invited "people of all genders, races, identities, ages, cultures and creeds" to join their "resounding chorus and #BringTheNoise".
The "resounding chorus" included cheering, chanting and banging on drums to ensure Trump's visit to the UK wouldn't be a quiet one.

The march began at 11am outside of the BBC Broadcasting House, Portland Place. It then took a route of Regent Street, Piccadilly, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall, ending in a rally at Parliament Square.
Protestors held up all types of signs criticising Trump, his policies, and his many controversial comments - particularly those targeting women and minorities. A giant "baby Trump" balloon also casually took flight in central London.
