Jack White calls Trump's changes to the White House 'vulgar'
"It's now a vulgar, gold leafed and gaudy, professional wrestler's dressing room," said Jack White.
Jack White has spoken out against United States President Donald Trump's redecoration of the White House's Oval Office; where Trump recently hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other European leaders.
"Look at how disgusting trump has transformed the historic White House," said the White Stripes frontman on Instagram. "It's now a vulgar, gold leafed and gaudy, professional wrestler's dressing room."
"Can't wait for the UFC match on the front lawn too, he's almost fully achieved the movie 'Idiocracy'."
The comment refers to Trump's July announcement of plans for an Ultimate Fighting Championship fight at the White House.
"Look at his disgusting taste," White went on, "would you even buy a used car from this conman, let alone give him the nuclear codes?
"A gold plated trump bible would look perfect up on that mantle with a pair of trump shoes on either side wouldn't it? What an embarrassment to American history."

In addition to Trump's gold-themed Oval Office makeover, he has added a gold “Trump” crest over the White House's door and paved over the historic Rose Garden, well-known for it's enhancement by former first lady Jackie Kennedy.
Last year, the White Stripes filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the U.S. President for his use of their song 'Seven Nation Army' in a political video.
"Also pictured in this photograph, a REAL leader of a nation in a black suit," finished White's statement, referring to Zelenskyy.
During his meeting with the Ukrainian President, Trump was see showing off his hat collection, one of the garments reading "4 More Years".
Additionally, during their press conference, Zelenskyy made a statement about pausing elections during wartime.
"So you're saying during the war you can't have elections," said Trump.
"So, let me just say, three and a half years from now... if we happen to be in a war with somebody, no more elections. Oh, that's good."
Under United States law, it is illegal for a President to be voted into office more than two times.
