Whenyoung Thrill Other Voices At Electric Picnic
The Limerick trio cemented their crowd-pleaser status this evening
Rock trio Whenyoung gave Irish festival goers another smashing performance at the Other Voices stage.
Following on from a stand-out show at All Together Now, the band played some of their best-loved tunes like 'Pretty Pure'.
Aoife Power gave a stunning vocal performance as she strummed on bass, her soft but powerhouse voice filling the room amongst Niall Burns' cool riffs and Andrew Flood's booming drums.
The Limerick-originating band also paid tribute to fellow Limerick group The Cranberries by performing their cover of 'Dreams'. The crowd erupted during the cover's opening instrumentals.
All three band members seemed ecstatic at the crowd's enthusiasm to sing along to the lyrics. The band's tribute to the late Dolores O'Riordan gains more and more sentiment each time it's performed.
