Ultan Conlon has shared the music video for his latest single, 'Penny Sweets.'
Produced by Dave Curtis, 'Penny Sweets' was written and recorded by Conlon himself in two weeks. The track's music video features 1984 footage of break dancing youth in Limerick.
"In a Galaxy far far away in the Republic of Limerick in a period of civil unrest and recession during the 1980's, a group of rebels take to the streets to perform," the music video begins. "They are pumped up on the 'Sugar Buzz' of cheap confectionaries known as...Penny Sweets."
The track is the Galway singer-songwriter's second single release this year, following 'The River Flows.' He released his fourth studio album, There's A Waltz, last year.
