Watch: Sting Performs at Le Bataclan
Nearly a year after the horrific terror attacks in Paris, Sting heals Le Bataclan with music.
English musician, Sting, performed Friday night in Paris for the first time since the venue saw 89 people shot dead. He opened with 'Fragile' asking the crowd to pay their respects to the victims with a moment of silence. 'Fragile' appropriately reminds the crowd That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could/For all those born beneath an angry star/Lest we forget how fragile we are." .
Sting played Police songs the rest of the night, including 'Message in a Bottle', 'Driven to Tears', 'Every Breath You Take', and 'Roxanne.' He completed his set with 'The Empty Chair', a tune written for a new documentary about American journalist James Foley, who was abducted and killed by ISIS in 2012.
The 'Fragile' opening can be viewed below.
