WATCH: new video and EP from runawayGO

Hotly-tipped as ones to watch in 2012 by Hot Press some time ago, Belfast five-piece runawayGO are preparing to launch their debut, self-titled EP on April 6 in Ireland and April 8 in the UK.

To mark the release, the band play a gig at the Empire on Botanic Avenue in Belfast on Thursday, March 29. The event will be streaming live on [link]www.GiftedLive.com[/link] and [link]www.runawaygo.com[/link] at 11pm.

The lead track is the lovely 'Electric', which you can check out ahead of release (and its accompanying video) below.

Catch the band live, when they embark on a mini-tour, stopping off at the Oliver Plunkett, Cork (April 4, 11, 18, 25), the Cellar, Galway (13), Hole in The Wall, Kilkenny (14), The Office Bar, Limerick (17), Crane Lane Theatre, Cork (22), Dolans Warehouse, Limerick (27), O'Keeffe’s, Clonmel, Tipperary (28), Vantastival (May 5).
