Watch: Jamie Stanton premieres 'Destination Nowhere' video
The single goes on digital release today
Jamie Stanton releases the video for 'Destination Nowhere' a year after his debut album Flying Colours, which reached number 3 on the Irish Album Charts in October 2015.
For his second video, 'Destination Nowhere,' Jamie gives a more up front and personal glimpse into his musical travels over the past year. The video also features the late, Lawrence White, who produced Jamie's first album Flying Colours. Lawrence still influences Jamie to "spread his wings and get outta here!" And that is exactly what he did for the 'Destination Nowhere.' Jamie feels the video represent the simple, optimistic rock song by showing that "Moving on to the next opportunity and adventure," is the way to go.
The 27-year old musician hails from Cobh, Cork, Ireland and has been fond of music since he picked up the euophonium at a very young age. In 2014, he performed as a finalist on the TV show The Voice, quickly becoming a fan favourite. Aside from singing, Jamie plays guitar, bass, drums, and piano.
