Walking On Cars Light Up Electric Picnic's Main Stage

Irish alt-rock band Walking on Cars were the fourth act to take to the Main Stage at Electric Picnic tonight.

Despite some lighting difficulties, the band were well-received by a screaming crowd.

The large audience sang along as frontman Patrick Sheehy crooned some of the band's best-known numbers, each of which evoked a series of roars and applause once they finished.

The Dingle five-piece have been an Irish festival favourite for a number of years. Electric Picnic draws their 2018 festival-full summer to a close.

The band are the second-last performers of the Main Stage tonight. They'll be followed by rap sensation Kendrick Lamar at 10.40pm.
