Vietnam Disko
Mr Pascalidis's 'Vietnam Disko' boasts more imagination and longevity than most in-vogue producers' work.
Mr Pascalidis's 'Vietnam Disko' boasts more imagination and longevity than most in-vogue producers' work: on 'Raw Mission', Savas shoehorns murky punk-funk basslines with rave stabs, 'Saigon Nightmare' features dramatic, orchestral strings over an ominous low end and the tearing techno of 'Heartbreaker' climaxes to the sound of a sleazy narrative. Although the second half of 'Disko' consists mainly of dark EBM-tinged tracks, discerning listeners will still ove this brooding, underground work long time.
