Although Hiroshi Watanabe only released an artist album in March, ‘Tread 3’, he’s keen to follow it up as soon as possible with this new work. Unlike its down tempo predecessor, ‘4’ is based around a more groovy arrangement. Like a meeting point between Chicago house and dubby German techno, this album is hypnotic, clubby and, if you’ve any interest in the future of dance floor based electronic music, well worth your attention.
