Track of the Day: Tommy Cullen, ‘B Movie’
Indie songwriter Tommy Cullen has unveiled his latest banger ‘B Movie,’ featuring vocals from Londoner Yazmyn Hendrix.
Dublin indie songwriter Tommy Cullen is back with his new single ‘B Movie,’ the latest advance release from his debut album Enjoy The Glow, out April 19th. Featuring guest vocals from London-based singer-songwriter Yazmyn Hendrix, the track is an exploration of duality and communication instilled with a lush, hip hop groove.
Raised in a world of art and creativity, Cullen discovered his passion for music at a young age, finding his footing on the Dublin music scene as a part of the alt-rock band The False and the Fair before trying his hand as a solo artist.
After starting from scratch in his home studio, Cullen has slowly made his way onto the national stage, the upcoming album serving as the culmination of his artistic life to date. Enjoy the Glow, mixed by Marcus Jay and mastered by Ivan Jackman at Hellfire Studios, explores the beauty of everyday life, recounting tales of true love, UFO sightings and trips to Ikea.
The new album will reach platforms just before Cullen’s largest headline show to date at the Sound House in Dublin on April 26th, backed by the TC AllStar Band and featuring special guest Siobhán Franks. Tickets are available now at thesoundhouse.ie.
