The experimental folk artist released the final single from his sophomore album, before its release in early September.
As Joshua Burnside gears up to release his highly anticipated sophomore album, Into The Depths of Hell, he's moving further and further from delicate indie folk sensibilities. 'War On Everything' – the fourth and final single from the upcoming album – sees him lean firmly into the postmodern doom that has marked its previous releases.
Having produced Into The Depths of Hell almost entirely himself, it's already clear that Burnside is flexing his incredible ear. Like the final stone in the roadway, 'War on Everything' completes a path to an album that will be as exciting and unpredictable as promised.
Referencing 'War On Everything' Van Morrison and Bob Dylan, Burnside comments on his personal failures as cacophonous horns and mournful strings rage around his beautifully unadorned voice.

- Into The Depths of Hell is due out September 4th.
