Track of the Day: 2Time Charlie - 'Kids'

Waterford's 2Time Charlie have released their third and final single from their EP, Everything's Delicious, titled 'Kids'. In perfect timing, their debut EP is also out today!

Dripping in smooth jazz with modern twists, 'Kids' is an extraordinary change of pace from the over-produced pop currently saturating the music industry. The classic jazzy elements of soft elongated riffs, intensely deep bass, and steady drums feature - with a dashing of twinkly keys - before you're spun into musical whiplash when the lead singers whips out a rap section.

There are so many delightful different elements to this track, even after three or four spins, there's still more and more to unpack. Most of all - it makes you want to dance. The combination of layers and elements is the perfect mix for a good boogy! And boy - their lead singer has a beautiful range.

This jazzy feeling continues throughout their small but spectacular discography, keeping us on our toes for what's to come in their debut EP. The group are launching this release tonight in Geoff's Bar in Waterford - so get down to see them in action!
