The Sultans of Ping announce gig for Cork Jazz Festival
Tickets start from €35 and go on sale this Thursday 6th March at 10am.
Legendary Cork outfit The Sultans of Ping have announced their long-awaited return to Cork City Hall that will take place during the Cork Jazz Festival on October Bank Holiday weekend.
Marking their first performance at the City Hall since 1993, the band will take the stage on Saturday 25th October.
Known for their riotous live shows, the band promise an unforgettable night of punk-fuelled nostalgia and high-energy chaos. As such, The Sultans of Ping are set to deliver a blistering set filled with fan favourites and deep cuts from their acclaimed albums, including Casual Sex in the Cineplex and Teenage Drug.
Tickets start from €35 and go on sale this Thursday 6th March at 10am via Eventbrite.
Emerging from Cork's underground music scene in the late 1980s, The Sultans of Ping quickly became one of Ireland's most beloved alternative rock bands, blending punk energy with irreverent humour.
Their breakthrough single 'Where's Me Jumper?' earned cult-classic status and cemented the band as an unforgettable figure of the Irish music scene. Over the years, they have released several albums and continued to build a reputation for their electric stage presence, unpredictable antics and a devoted following that continues to grow.
