Donegal Irish folk trio The Henry Girls have announced the release of their new single, 'Don't Fear the Night'.

'Don't Fear the Night' sees the folk group incorporate elements of blues and jazz in their often more traditional sounding repertoire.

The closing track on the group's recently released A Time To Grow LP, the single was produced by Tommy McLaughlin of Attica Studios Donegal, where the likes of SOAK and Pillow Queens have also recorded albums.

'Don't Fear the Night' will reminds listeners of a lullaby with its soothing harmonies and comforting lyrics: "Don’t fear the night /May your heart be light".

The single comes as the sisters, Karen, Lorna, and Joleen McLaughlin begin their upcoming tour, taking their live show to venues across Ireland including dates in Derry, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, and Galway.
