The Cribs to release new album Selling A Vibe
The album will mark the band's first project in five years
British indie rock band The Cribs have announced the release of their 10th studio album, Selling A Vibe.
The project is set for release on January 9, 2026, via Play It Again Sam.
The Wakefield trio — twins Gary and Ryan Jarman with their younger brother Ross — formed in 2001 and are returning with their first new record in five years.
The album was produced by Patrick Wimberly, known for his work with MGMT and Caroline Polachek.
The lead single, ‘Summer Seizures’, is out now, accompanied by a 16mm-shot video directed by longtime collaborator Andy Knowles.
“In a digital age of infinite options, shooting on film meant it had to be quick, spontaneous and natural,” Ryan Jarman said.
“We got exactly what we were looking for: the band as we are now, in our natural environment on celluloid.”
The tracklist for Selling A Vibe has been revealed as follows:
1. Dark Luck
2. Selling A Vibe
3. A Point Too Hard To Make
4. Never The Same
5. Summer Seizures
6. Looking For The Wrong Guy
7. If Our Paths Never Crossed
8. Self-Respect
9. You’ll Tell Me Anything
10. Rose Mist
11. Distractions
12. Brothers Won’t Break
The band have also announced a headline UK tour for spring 2026.
Selling A Vibe is out January 9, available for preorder here. In the meantime, you can check out the music video for ‘Summer Seizures’ below.
