Having nabbed the Who The Fuck Are They? award at Witnness 02, The Polyphonic Spree make a triumphant return to Irish shores with their brand of gloriously, dementedly, infectiously happy pop. Tim De Laughter (boasting a giant green shamrock pinned to the back of his robe, I might add) leads his troupe through a set that includes crowd sing-alongs ‘Hanging Around The Day’ and ‘Soldier Girl’, with a little help from some of the younger members of the family Spree. Corking stuff.
