Téada announces new album Orchestrating 25 to mark 25 years of touring

Téada have released their new album Orchestrating 25, which was recorded at The National Concert Hall in Dublin. The band were joined by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and conductor Karen Ní Bhroin for the concert in February 2026.

The group played a selection of music from their 25-year career, arranged for orchestra for the first time by Ryan Molloy, Michael Keeney and Mathew Berrill. The album is a live recording of the concert.

Téada is a traditional Irish music group, they have been touring since 2001. Across their career, they have played in venues across the world, including a seven week tour across Taiwan and Japan in 2014. They performed for 40,000 people during the tour. Their previous album, Coiscéim Coiligh-As The Days Brighten, was released in 2022.

The band performed a number of Irish shows during the summer, including Skerries Trad Weekend in Dublin; Kilteel Hall, Co. Kildare; Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy, Co. Clare, and O'Carolan Harp Festival, Co. Roscommon.
