Sparks reveal the title of their new album, MAD! and drop new single 'Do Things My Own Way'
Sparks also announce the MAD! UK, European & Japanese tour dates for June and July.
Sparks, brothers Ron and Russell Mael, have released their new single 'Do Things My Own Way', revealed their new album title MAD!, and announced UK, European and Japanese tour dates.
Ron Mael (keyboards) and his younger brother Russell (vocals) were born and raised in Los Angeles, and first recorded under the name Urban Renewal Project and subsequently Halfnelson, before settling on the name Sparks in 1972.
They've been making music together across seven decades and have moved through numerous genres and phases, including Art-Glam, Neo-Charleston, electronic disco, synthpop, and sampler opera. This new album will mark their 28th studio album.
Further details about the album remain undisclosed. However, fans can look forward to their upcoming tour.
Sparks will be returning to the live stage this June starting with the Japanese, UK and European legs of their world tour. Tickets go on general sale on Friday, February 7.
