Space Between

London DJ/producer Will Saul first came to prominence as a breaks DJ, but thankfully, he has subsequently expanded his canon to include seductive house and deep, dubby techno. On ‘Space’, his debut album, he adds some unusual flavours – including African instrumentation – to create a rounded work that has echoes of Mathew Jonson, Charles Webster and the London breaks mafia. So many dance producers talk about making a proper artist album but invariably fail to deliver. It sounds like Will Saul is an exception to this rule.
