SoundCloud unveils new multi-part documentary after being 'saved' by Chance The Rapper
The documentary will focus on local and underground scenes that rely on SoundCloud to function.
Beleaguered audio streaming website SoundCloud will release a six-part documentary on various music scenes that rely on Spotify.
According to Uproxx, 'it looks like either the first episode or all six will be released on July 20, and they’ll cover musical communities in Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, New York City, London, and Berlin.'
was announced via the site's official Twitter account:

The news follows reports that hip-hop star and noted SoundCloud devotee Chance The Rapper had in effect 'saved' the site from financial trouble.
This was prompted by a tweet from Chance reporting a 'fruitful conversation' with CEO Alex Ljung, saying that the site's future was 'bright'.
