Softdrink Millionnaire plus friends to play Gig 4 Gaza at Whelan's
100% of the ticket sales will go directly to funding relief in Gaza
Softdrink Millionaire are putting on a gig to raise vital funds for Gaza, on August 28 in Whelan's, Dublin. The lineup also includes Stella and the Dreaming and Burglar.
100% of the ticket sales will go directly to fundraisers from Irish and Palestinian grassroots organisations.
"As Israeli occupying forces continue to destroy, starve, ethnically cleanse and commit genocide in Palestine, it’s imperative that we do whatever we can to aid innocent Palestinians subjected to such horrific dehumanisation and decimation each day, said Josh Fortune of Softdrink Millionaire.
"We’ve banded together as friends and artists for a night of music Upstairs in Whelan’s, with all of the proceeds going towards supporting Palestinians on the ground. Free Palestine”
The Bray band released their debut EP SOUND, earlier this year and have played a number of gigs in Dublin's Anseo and The Harbour Bar. They have garnered attention for twee and post rock sound and chaotic live shows.
Stella and the Dreaming recently played at The National Concert Hall in Dublin, while, Burglar have had stints in London including The Windmill, in Brixton.
Tickets to the Gig 4 Gaza are €10 and can be purchased here.
