Soda Blonde add second Whelan's date due to high demand
Tickets €22.50 (including booking fee) go on sale this Friday, 1st October at 10am.
Irish quartet Soda Blonde have announced a second date at Whelan's, Dublin after selling out their December 9th date. The alt/pop outfit will also be performing on on Thursday, 16th December 2021.
Forming Little Green Cars in their early teens, the Dublin group had built their style on thunderous harmonies, big, anthemic alt-rock sounds, and visceral songwriting that could alternately incite fiery fits of rage, or make you want to crawl under a duvet. Later forming Soda Blonde (minus Stevie Appleby), the group have fully found their footing as revitalised new stalwarts on the Irish scene.
Previous album singles 'In The Heat Of The Night', 'Small Talk' and 'Holy Roses' built up a fiery momentum for the release of their debut album as a four-piece, with a rake of exciting performances now lined up.
With soaring vocals and polished production, Soda Blonde's latest album Small Talk chronicles lead singer Faye O’Rourke’s twenties: the unbelievable highs, the violent lows, the sometimes deep regrets.
