Snoop Dogg and The Game lead another peace rally
Following the Dallas murders, Snoop Dogg and The Game led a peace rally in Los Angeles. The two rappers then held an event Sunday morning called 'Time To Unite: United Hoods + Gangs Nation.'
Snoop Dogg and The Game have taken it upon themselves to help put an end to the violence threatening the city of Los Angeles.
The first peace rally they held came shortly after the Dallas murders on July 7, 2016 at a Black Lives Matter march.
The two rappers reunited yesterday for another peace-oriented gathering, but this time they invited rival gang members to attend in order to open up a dialogue about the problems facing the community.
In a passionate Instagram post, The Game wrote: "[We need to have] the much needed conversation amongst ourselves about our influence on the youth in our respective neighborhoods & how we can serve as better role models to them & the brothers we stand beside daily.... Because the sad truth that no one wants to face is, before we can get OUR LIVES TO MATTER to anyone else... We have to show that OUR LIVES MATTER to US!!!"
Like the previous rally held by Snoop Dogg and The Game, all weapons were asked to be left at home to ensure a peaceful gathering.
