Skanger release new single 'Debris' and music video
Check out the dazzling new music from Skanger.
Dublin band Skanger today release new single, accompanied by a music video shot by frontman Mark Healy. 'Debris' is the latest single to be released from their forthcoming LP Love & Violence which is due for release later this year.
The track explores themes of questioning, introspection, and conflict, with a tone that transitions from sadness to frustration. The lyrics delve into the complexities of understanding one’s actions and grappling with the consequences, particularly in the context of violence and conflict (“bullets and bombs”). The repeated refrain of “Explain to me” highlights a desire for clarity and understanding amidst confusion and chaos.
As a four trio, Skanger comprises Mark Healy on lead vocals & guitars, Terry Hackett on drums and prolific producer Ingmar Kiang on bass.
