Simple Minds to play acoustic live shows in Dublin & Belfast
Following the release of their 2016 album, the Scottish rock band take their acoustic show on the road this coming June.
The tour marks the first time Simple Minds will perform their songs acoustically for a large audience. Acoustic, which can be purchased now, is the band's seventeenth album and features 12-tracks of acoustically re-imagined tunes.
Simple Minds released Acoustic back in November, leaving the iconic synths in the dust. However, not to worry, the essence of the band remains in the stripped down classics, as the songs harbour a new sense of warmness.
Lead singer Jim Kerr comments on what to expect at the live show, “With a great live line - up and a setlist full of iconic Minds songs, it is bound to be a unique and memorable experience for both band and fans. See you there!”
Simple Minds tour dates are as follows:
June 6 -Waterfront, Belfast (£44.50 incl. booking fee)
June 7 - Olympia Theatre, Dublin (€58.70 incl. booking fee & restoration levy.)
Tickets go on sale this Monday, December 12th at 9am.
