Silent Shout
Shout has more in common with minimal-trance producers like Nathan Fake and Gabriel Ananda as the epic chords that underpin the hushed vocals on the title track and the quasi-mystical synth washes of ‘The Captain’ demonstrate.
Talk about a transformation: this is the same act that released the spiky electro-pop of You Take My Breath Away in 2004, but Shout has more in common with minimal-trance producers like Nathan Fake and Gabriel Ananda as the epic chords that underpin the hushed vocals on the title track and the quasi-mystical synth washes of ‘The Captain’ demonstrate.
However, they haven’t forgotten their poppy sensibility – The Knife wrote ‘Heartbeats’, the song that made Jose Gonzalez a star; new single ‘Marble House’, an ‘80s influenced synth pop track, may also guarantee fame for this brother and sister act.
