Sharon Corr & Chris O'Dowd to appear on Angela Scanlon's new TV show
'Line of Duty' and 'Vigil' star Martin Compston will also appear on the first-ever episode of Angela Scanlon's show.
Angela Scanlon's brand new RTÉ show has just announced its first star-studded guest line-up, with singer-songwriter Sharon Corr and Emmy-award winning actor Chris O'Dowd set to make an appearance.
Angela Scanlon's Ask Me Anything debuts on RTÉ One this Saturday at 10pm. The show promises raw and unabashed interviews, the guests having agreed - as the name implies - to be asked absolutely any question.
Boyle native Chris O'Dowd, who has risen to global renown through his roles in the smash hit film Bridesmaids and the HBO show Girls, will be discussing the importance of maintaining his Irish accent.
The LA-based star will also be chatting about his dog Potato and its peculiar habit of howling along to American TV show theme tunes, as well as reliving the joy of being awarded the Freedom of Roscommon back in 2014.
Scottish Actor and ex-footballer Martin Compston will be revealing what really happened at this year's National Television Awards, when an unfortunate coincidence made it look as if he wanted to off Dame Joan Collins. The TV star will also talk about his special emotional attachment to prison-turned-museum Kilmainham Gaol.
Singer Sharon Corr, best known as a member of family-run pop-rock quartet The Corrs, will chat with Scanlon about her feisty lyrics, experiences on Tinder, and her tumultuous experience of meeting opera legend Luciano Pavarotti.
Watch Angela Scanlon's Ask Me Anything this Saturday night on RTÉ One at 10pm.
