Saramai will perform at the Kells Hinterland Festival
The Hinterland Literature and Arts Festival will run from 22-25 of June in Kells.
Saramai will be performing in the Church of Ireland in Kells on the Friday night of The Hinterland festival - Kells' literary and Arts festival. Saramai remarked, “It's such a great festival and we're delighted to be in such a special venue. The church has stunning natural reverb! We're really looking forward to showcasing some new material on the night and of course playing songs from our EPs.”
Performing under the name ‘Saramai’ are husband and wife duo, Saramai Leech and Cormac O’Keeffe. Heralded by Nialler9, The Irish Times and Hotpress, they have extensive performance experience across Ireland and more recently in the UK. Live TV and radio performances include Other Voices RTE, Arena Arts, Today FM and more.
Joining them on the night is multi-instrumentalist Alan Carmody.
On Saturday, Sarami Leech, her brother Oisin of The Lost Brothers and the poet and publisher Peter Fallon will be collaborating to combine poetry and music in an intimate lunchtime performance.
Tickets to the performances can be purchased on the festival's website
