Rugby stars Louis Ludik and CJ Stander launch South African Boerewors sausage range into Aldi
Add some Soweto-style chakalaka to your life!
Having been one of last year’s Grow With Aldi winners, Hellbent have launched their Boerewors Sausages into 145 of the discount store’s outlets nationwide.
Based in Northern Ireland, Hellbent is the brainchild of Ulster rugby star Louis Ludik who’s been pining for the sausage spirals he used to scoff back home in South Africa.
Helping him spice things up is Munster and Ireland man CJ Stander who’s become a Hellbent brand ambassador and food taster.

Their original Boerewors are great, and the chakalaka ones infused Soweto-style with hot relish even better.
The range, which can all be found at https://www.wearehellbent.co.uk, also includes burgers, meatballs and pork belly “with South African welly.”
