Rod and Gab bring home a Grammy.
Mexican acoustic guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela have won a Grammy!
Hosted by Alicia Keys, the 2019 Grammy Awards took place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
The duo who started their career busking in Dublin after getting a one way plane ticket, signed to Independent Irish label Rubyworks.
The pair received their first-ever nomination and Grammy win for their album Mettavolution for 'Best Contemporary Instrumental Album'.

Three years in the making, Mettavolution brings together Rod and Gab’s passionate interest in Buddhism, the history of human evolution and the liberation of the potential we have as a species; all expressed through the medium of two acoustic guitars.
