Rod Stewart confirmed for Glastonbury legends slot in 2025
Stewart last headlined Glastonbury in 2002, closing out the festival on the Sunday night.
Rod Stewart will follow in the footsteps of Lionel Richie and Dolly Parton – as he is set to play the Glastonbury 'legends' headliner spot for 2025.
The announcement comes after Stewart revealed he will not be playing any more “large-scale” world tours in the future. The singer who will turn 80 in January shared to Instagram, "This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me, but I have no desire to retire".
The star is clearly not slowing down anytime soon, having released the album Swing Fever with Jools Holland earlier this year.

Tickets for the festival were released last week and are now entirely sold out, despite the fact that the complete line-up is yet to be revealed.
