Robin Blakey to release new album and host launch party
Blakey’s new album is his most vulnerable and raw release to date.
Robin Blakey has announced his album Wallpaper Attic will drop on January 18, with an album launch party taking place that night in Crowbar Terrace. At the launch party, Blakey will play tracks from the album with a 4-piece band.
There will be support from Marmalee and rapper Curtisy, who was nominated for Choice Music Prize Irish Album of the Year yesterday.
Wallpaper Attic is the artist’s most vulnerable release to date, with Blakey commenting: “It's about finding safety in both comfort and discomfort. Ease and hardship. Flying and landing. Relaxing and striving”.
Tickets for Blakey’s upcoming album launch party are available here.
