Robert Plant announces show at Trinity College Dublin
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am.
Former Led Zeppelin lead singer Robert Plant and his band, Saving Grace, have announced a show for Trinity College Dublin's Summer Series on June 29, 2027, as part of his upcoming UK and Irish tour.
The run will also include stops in London, Lincoln, Halifax and Scarborough.
This follows the release of his Saving Grace: All That Glitters EP last month and a run of US dates.
The EP, previously released on vinyl for Record Store Day, follows Plant's 2025 album, Saving Grace - his 12th studio record, which peaked at No. 4 on the UK Official Albums Chart and debuted at No. 2 on the Official Album Sales Chart and Official Physical Albums Chart.
Saving Grace, Plant's roots and traditional band, began at the frontman's home on the Welsh borderlands in 2019. The group had been experimenting for a year, serving as an opening act on a handful of dates for Fairport Convention, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
Once protocols permitted, Plant and Saving Grace began to record informally in a barn setup or outdoors, then booked themselves in small venues. They consist of vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley and cellist Barney Morse-Brown.
In July, Plant was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 Americana Honours and Awards for his contributions to Americana and American roots music.
The award recognised Plant's collaboration with Allison Krauss and producer T Bone Burnett on the Grammy Award-winning album Raising Sand. It also honoured his exploration of American roots music throughout his career - his collaboration with Patty Griffin, Buddy Miller and Suzi Dian, along with his recent record and EP.
"Robert Plant's relationship with Americana music extends far beyond influence—it is one of genuine passion, stewardship and artistic curiosity," said Jed Hilly, Executive Director of the Americana Music Association. "His willingness to immerse himself in the traditions of blues, folk, country and gospel, while continuing to push their boundaries, has expanded the audience for Americana around the world.”
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am here.
