Robbie Williams has announced his new album BRITPOP, available this autumn.
The musician also dropped ‘Rocket,’ the lead single off the project, featuring Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi. Released through Columbia Records, the album is available for pre-order now. Williams will soon kick off a stadium tour later this month, including a sold-out show at Dublin’s Croke Park on August 23.
“I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995,” said Williams. “It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British Music. I’ve worked with some of my heroes on this album; it’s raw, there are more guitars and it’s an album that’s even more upbeat and anthemic than usual.
“There’s some ‘Brit’ in there and there’s certainly some ‘pop’ too - I’m immensely proud of this as a body of work and I’m excited for fans to hear this album. I also can’t wait to perform a song or two from it on my upcoming BRITPOP tour, which I’m opening in the UK, naturally.”
The album cover depicts a painting of Williams's red tracksuit outfit from Glastonbury Festival in 1995. BRITPOP will be available in CD, deluxe CD, cassette, alt cassette and digital formats. Signed bundles are also available for a limited time.

Williams is renowned for creating six of the Top 100 best-selling albums in British history, with approximately 85 million record sales worldwide. He also earned 18 BRIT Awards over the course of his career– more than any other artist. Back in December of 2024, his Oscar-nominated film Better Man was released, with the movie’s soundtrack securing him his 15th UK No. 1 album.
