Rive Eskimo: Volume 2
While Belgian club Eskimo will go down in history as being the only promoters to throw a party in a disused underwear factory, they obviously aren’t content to rest on their laurels (no pun intended).
While Belgian club Eskimo will go down in history as being the only promoters to throw a party in a disused underwear factory, they obviously aren’t content to rest on their laurels (no pun intended). Last year saw the release of the first Eskimo mix CD, and happily, the second installment follows the same willfully eclectic blueprint. There’s genre defining hip-house from EPMD, authentic disco action courtesy of MFSB and early house from Lil’ Louis and Eric Kupper. While the second half of the mix is less energetic, Volume 2, like its predecessors will have you grinning from ear to ear with every listen.
