Richard Ashcroft unveils new single 'Lovin You'
Ashcroft will open for Oasis at Wembley Stadium, for their tour finale in September
Richard Ashcroft has released his new single 'Lovin You,' the title track from his forthcoming album, out October 10.
The track features a recording of the iconic guitar riff from Mason Williams’ Grammy-winning 1968 song 'Classical Gas.'
The upcoming album will be available in CD and Vinyl format, with a special edition in neon orange in the official store and other colour in select stores.
This comes after his previous single from the forthcoming album, 'Lover,' released in May.
Ashcroft has been spending his summer on the Oasis stadium tour, in Ireland and the UK. He opened for the band at their double header, in Dublin's Croke Park. The singers stint with Manchester duo has seen him re-enter the official Irish Music Chart with the generational hit 'Bitter Sweet Symphony' currently sitting at #21.
The Verve frontman will embark on his UK headline tour this November, stopping off at cities across England and Scotland. New dates in Glasgow, Newcastle and Birmingham have also been added due to demand.
