Reevah announces new album Lucky Stars and shares single

Derry artist Reevah has announced her sophomore album Lucky Stars, out February 26, 2027, and released a new single 'I'm Just Fine' via Bloom Records.

"I wrote this track about the journey of losing and finding yourself; questioning the life you're living, the passing of time and whether the path you're on is really the right one for you," said Reevah of the new song.

Of the sound, she added: "The addition of saxophone adds a whole new dynamic, bringing energy and a real sense of nostalgia. It's an exciting feature that comes back throughout the album."

'I'm Just Fine' and one other unreleased song have also recently landed placements on the latest season of Love Island UK.

Lucky Stars was brought into being when, the day after she performed to a sold-out audience at Ulster Hall for her debut album, her mother was diagnosed with illness.

"A whirlwind 48 hours of success and shock, Lucky Stars navigates life when it's flipped upside down," reads a statement.

Three other recently-released songs are set to feature on the album, including 'The Hardest Part', 'Talk Too Much' and 'Take What You Can' - which was recently long-listed for Single of the Year at the NI Music Prize.

Lucky Stars follows her 2023 debut album Daylight Savings, which Hot Press described as "a winning collection of '80s-inspired dream-pop ... Putting a strikingly fresh spin on familiar indie tropes, Daylight Savings is a terrific first album."

On October 30, she will play at Derry's Guildhall as part of their Halloween festival.

Meanwhile, last month, she played a support slot for The Coronas on back-to-back sold-out shows in her hometown.
