Ravyn Lenae releases new single 'Saturday Night' ahead of upcoming album
Catch her at Electric Picnic on August 30
Ravyn Lenae has released her new single ‘Saturday Night’, bringing us a step closer to her third studio album Blue Island set to be released August 7, via Atlantic Records.
This comes after the announcement of her headline tour that will take place across North America, with support from Lexa Gates, Nourished By Time and Q. The tour is launching in September and tickets are available here.
She will also make a stop in Ireland at Electric Picnic festival on August 30.
Beginning as an independent artist, Lenae has grown from strength to strength. Gaining global recognition for her breakout song ‘Love Me Not’ that earned her a spot in the top five of Billboard’s Hot 100 and virality status as a TikTok hit, charting in several countries.
'Saturday Night' examines the modern day dating scene concerned with situationships and encapsulates it into an R&B synth track, serving as a harkening to the 80s with a contemporary twist.

So far, she has released four songs from the 14 track album, including the lead single from the album, ‘Handle’ as well as ‘Reputation’, which features a collaboration from Dominic Fike.
The album delves into her influences and her identity, expanding from her original sound by embracing artists such as The Sundays and The Cranberries that appear sonically in her music.
Lenae shared to Instagram “Blue Island is where I found myself returning to over and over again this past year. A place shaped by movement, heartbreak, desire, confidence, loneliness, freedom, uncertainty, growth.. The strange way memory and change can live right next door to each other”.
