Enjoy Pole and his electronic friends’ offbeat yet enjoyable sonic doodles
Hiss, click, fizz, it’s the sound of Berlin electronic dub meister Stefan ‘Pole’ Betke, with an album’s worth of tracks inspired by two tracks ‘Raum 1’ and ‘Raum 2’s. These original pieces are included on R, alongside the follow up compositions, ‘3’ and ‘4’, while fellow experimental producers Kit Clayton and Burnt Friedmann add their own interpretations to Pole’s minimal dub.
However, like all of Pole’s previous works, the best advice when listening to R is to discard the notion of track listings and song writing credits and just enjoy Pole and his electronic friends’ offbeat yet enjoyable sonic doodles.
