Premiere: Saint Sapphire debut new music video for single ‘Rule The World Tonight’
Prepare to headbang into another dimension.
There’s loud, and then there’s Saint Sapphire loud.
The Belfast boys recently released their blistering new track, and the follow up video is just as gritty and angst-fueled. ‘Rule The World Tonight’ is an aggressive and infectious track that ticks all the boxes of a great rock song - who doesn’t love an epic guitar solo? - and the music video comes with a very political edge.
As a group of lads born in a post-troubles Belfast, Saint Sapphire are utilising the visual to proclaim that they’ve had enough and don’t want to go back. Coming at a hugely poignant time for Northern Ireland, the video is interspersed with paramilitary murals and glimpses of the North.
